CO-CEO, THE OFFICE GROUP
At Rapport, we are passionate about Time.
Arguably one of the true greatest luxuries we can have, time is precious and valuable to us all.
Explore the world of time and how it shapes our lives.
I was born and bred in London and the focus of our business is here, so it’s important to have breaks from what can be a fast-paced and challenging environment. If I can, I love spending time near water, most recently a short break on a lake. To be able to jump in and swim, take a paddleboard or just read a book by the water in a wonderfully relaxing environment.
1963 Rolex Sub-Mariner, a gift from my Dad many years ago. It’s classic but with a convex face so a little different to others. I’ve recently changed the strap for vintage leather so it feels like a new piece.
I have a beautiful 12 watch collector box with the glass top from Rapport.
Just simple, elegant workmanship quality.
My Master & Dynamic headphones. Happy listening to music (eclectic taste to say the least) and tuning out from the world when I need to focus, or listen to a podcast or focus full attention on Netflix.
I have two young kids (5 and 10) so they take up my entire weekend. My youngest is a sports fiend and the eldest a little more creative, so we keep it varied but very active at the weekends. Trying to combine my own interests in design and architecture is proving tricky to pass on, but there’s so much wonderful opportunity to explore in London, that we can fill our time pretty well.
My gum shield. Nothing beats sport. I love watching pretty much all sports but I’m a huge fan of boxing and started training in a spit and sawdust gym around 12 years ago.
Charlie Green and Co-CEO Olly Olson both worked for property companies and serviced office providers before starting up The Office Group in 2003 with the backing of Bridges Ventures, a socially aware Private Equity Fund.
The concept was driven by a desire to create buildings that would stand apart from the competition. That were simpler, much more design-led and generating a real sense of ownership (as well as being greener). By delivering this they believed they would get much closer to meeting people’s expectations from office space.
