Explore the mesmerising world of jewellery and the inspiring women that wear them.
From sentimental keepsakes to statement jewels, every piece tells a story.
One of my favourite pieces of jewellery is the Soror Ring designed by my dear friend and jewellery designer Anabela Chan for The Sorority. The bold colour and statement stone is a real wow factor, and captures the spirit, positivity and joy of our sisterhood. The rings come in two expressions, a sophisticated burgundy tourmaline which has a sense of power and inner strength which I wear at work, and a stunning pink sapphire which is fun and playful, perfect for parties!
Working in the creative industry, I enjoy wearing beautifully designed pieces that make a statement on their own and are the focal point of a look with a simple outfit. Let the jewellery shine!
Scott Wilson creates stunning graphic pieces that are easy to wear. Over the years Scott, who is a friend, has gifted me some gorgeous pieces that I treasure and they always get compliments.
I would wear his necklaces with buttery leather leggings by Amanda Wakeley and tailored jacket from Blazé Milano and Malone Soulier Boots.
I love the new mini jewellery trunks by Rapport. They are a cute, convenient size and so easy to travel with but equally a beautiful addition to your dressing room!
I love Sarah Ho’s numerati collection inspired by numerology. This concept allows your ‘Lucky Number’ to be clearly seen when held, but once worn, the true form is cleverly concealed becoming a secret to the wearer.
I also really admire the amazing work by Vania Leles for VANLELES Diamonds creating luxury jewels using only ethically sourced, sustainable African gemstones. VanLeles Diamonds is strictly using ethical and conflict-free stones. Vania’s designs are truly stunning.
I turned up on the set of a photoshoot one day for an exciting book celebrating inspiring women. The project was the vision of Sheikha Intisar’s, a princess from Kuwait’s royal family. I recall sitting in hair and make up when this smiling woman walked up to me and placed a bracelet on my wrist. It was a gold bracet designed by Intisars with Arabic calligraphy embossed onto a disk containing the power word, “So Astounding”.
Her collection reflects a woman’s inner strength, a mantra she can place close to her heart.
Sheikha Intisar said to me “You are So Astounding” and placed the bracelet around my wrist.
I have never taken it off since.
